Wharton will welcome its first cohort in May of this year, and the cost of the program is identical to that of its in-person EMBA, or $214,800. The program also includes five residential weeks at Wharton’s Philadelphia and San Francisco campuses along with other international locations. In August, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania announced its new Global EMBA in which 75% of instruction is to be delivered in live virtual sessions with Wharton professors. “Our Global EMBA will equip students with a unique perspective on each of these issues as well as on the traditional functional areas of business and finance.” ANOTHER BRAND SCHOOL EXPLORING ONLINE OPTIONSĬambridge is the second prominent business school brand to announce a partially online Global Executive MBA in recent months. “The world needs managers who understand the great challenges of our time – sustainability, geopolitical frictions, and diversity and inclusion,” says Professor Mauro Guillén, Dean of Cambridge Judge Business School, in a release.
